Biography
Kaitlin Koshiba has been working as an attorney in Northern Michigan since the summer of 2022. She graduated from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, based in Orlando, Florida, in December of 2021. She is an active member of the State of Michigan Bar, Wexford/Missaukee Bar Association, Western District of Michigan Federal Bar, and American Bar Association.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Ms. Koshiba worked in the healthcare IT industry since 2004 in the realm of sales and marketing, human resources, and finance management. She specialized in software user experience and understanding what the end-user wants. She also specialized in branding and marketing and product design.
Ms. Koshiba graduated in 2010 from Western Michigan University with a degree in Global and International Studies with a focus in Japanese History and a double minor in Business and in the Japanese language. During her academic career, she studied abroad to Japan 3 times and studied at the prestigious school of Rikkyo University in Tokyo majoring in International Business. She was also president of a student registered organization called “Japan Club” which focused on bridging together the Japanese culture and the local campus. Ms. Koshiba is fluent in the Japanese language and has passed the N3 Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
Ms. Koshiba resides in Cadillac, Michigan with her husband, daughter, and six dogs, and takes a special interest in the international community, music performance, health and fitness, and online gaming.
